Restaurateur, culinary educator, and master craftsman. Bringing high-precision Japanese technique directly to your plate, private dining room, and digital kitchen.
Born in Brunei, raised in Long Beach, and inspired by his Filipino and Malay heritage, Abe found his passion for food where it matters most: at home. By 24, he broke into the restaurant world as owner of Lowkey Poke Joint, scaling its inventive flavors across Southern California.
Driven to push the limits of his craft, Abe pursued rigorous formal training at the Sushi Chef Institute under master chef Andy Matsuda. That mastery transformed his discipline—turning precision knife technique and classic edomae traditions into his signature private in-home omakase. Today, across Los Angeles and Orange County, his mission remains singular: to make people fall in love with Japanese culinary art, one piece at a time.
